Peter,
>>How well does AMD's transition to 0.13 micron go? Will >>AMD have less difficulties than Intel?
Who knows?
>>When and in which quantities will the mobile TBred appear >>on the market?
Once they start coming out they will be sufficient to take a big chunk of market share from Intel.
>>How well will TBred scale? Will AMD have an answer to the >>forthcoming 533 MHz NW?
I say it will come out at 1.7Ghz and top out at 2.2Ghz. The EV6 bus theoretically can go to 200Mhz FSB.
>>When will SOI mass production start? How much performance >>improvement will it give to TBred?
That will be what will push the TBred to 2.4Ghz+
>>Is there any chance of ever getting a better share in >>the ??corporate market?
Yes, the MPs are slowing creeping in there. I say by end of year we'll see boxes by OEMS ( if hammer is looming the OEMS will want to start early, if not, it won't happen ).
>>And of course the "Mother of all Questions": When will >>Hammer be launched?
???????
>>Finally: Will Microsoft support X86-64?
Yes, it's already in the headers. We need visual studio to support it and Borland's tools have to also.
>>Oh, and I almost forgot: When will flash finally recover?
Dram already is, so flash should be next
