Shares of the company rose 34 cents to $13.55 on Wednesday. - 7:09AM Matsushita Electric resolves bond issue (MC) by Steve Gelsi Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. (MC) said it resolved the issuance of straight bonds to raise 'funds necessary for the company's future business development.' The company plans to issue unsecured straight bonds totaling up to 300 billion yen or about $2.3 billion USD starting in Jan., 2002 in Japan. -
