"Choose to receive the idea of unconditional Love which opens the soul's sight to see and feel everything as ONE, perfect, whole and FREE. And sit back and observe more and more and more of His unconditional energy, light and Love fill your inner being"
Frederick, you and I are barking up the SAME tree, I think, from somewhat different vantage points.
The above makes total sense to me, except that I don't see God as HIM.
Adi Da, speaking AS the Divine, and on behalf of the Divine says:
"He and She IS Me", meaning that the male and female energies (Siva/Shakti in Vedanta) arise in the Divine and are direct manifestations of the Divine, but by themselves represent only one ASPECT of the Divine.
In seeing God as Him, the metaphor of father/mother of ordinary human existence is laid upon God, in a somewhat limiting way, I would say. Of course it can be argued that God has all the qualities of a loving father, but that is just a small part of the equation when God IS ALL AND EVERYTHING.
Namaste!
