Hi Janice, The blood puddles in this valley are growing... Whats this bit of news about Magellan/Stansky buying quality tech cos? Is that something to hang a hope on, or just a bad dream, and not to be worried about. How many hours to the 22nd ? Here's a bit of good news, a friend who grows lettuce near here, called to tell me he'd just waded in big time (for him) and bought 100 shares or so today. His frugality is legendary. Could be the signal for all lettuce farmers to come to the aid of silicon valley. Is there some hidden message here? Are chips and salad destined to be a viable combo ? Is there a relationship between lettuce futures and E-square futures ? Are the fruit trees going to come back to Santa Clara Valley ? I'm confused, and a little bit depressed, Regards, Mike
