Milo, Re: "IMAGE_FILE_MACHINE_AMD64 64-bit Windows: AMD"

What a joke. You think that the only think needed for x86-64 support is a new line in the header file? If it were that simple, then how come Linux seems to be needing so many revisions, and so many fixes for x86-64 support, and yet they still can't support SMP (a pinnacle of Linux!)?

x86-64.org

2.4.9 Based x86-64 Linux Kernel Snapshot Released
A new x86-64 linux kernel snapshot is available.

Changes against the previous snapshot:

Now based on linux 2.4.9
Some files merged with the i386 port.
ACPI is enabled again
Many driver fixes
A floating signal stack frame bug in the i386 emulation has been fixed
Some bug fixes to the i386 emulation

Some minor cleanups.

Caveats:

SMP currently still non functional

Yet you and Constantine think that porting Windows will be "trivially easy".
