I wouldn't believe it then, and I still don't believe it now. I think AMD is getting there with the help of smaller transistor gates. What's so hard to believe about that? They've done it before. The better question is will they do it again? Can they mix a process that uses 243nm lithography with the next process, which will require 193nm lithography? My guess is that probably not. That's why AMD decided to go with .13u SOI, rather than .13u with smaller transistor gates.
