Another point. I'm hearing that electrologists
are having better luck selling their approach
because of the availability of EMLA. Most of
the local electrolgists around here (as reported
to my by an electrologist) are sending their
clients to their physicians to get prescriptions
for the numbing cream. My personal experience is
that it cuts the pain of electrolysis in half.

A local pharmacist told me that EMLA is being
prescribed very often for this purpose. Of
course, these observations may just apply to my
region, but I doubt it. Been told that the
electrolysis tradepapers are talking up the
stuff.

Just my opinion. Ted has proven himself to be
the true expert in this area. Ted?
