Was just reading I believe same article >>
biz.yahoo.com
somehow it tells me >>> patience is the key, will take time and $$$, maybe passengers will accept to pay $10 or even
$20 extra to help pay for the cost of this bomb detector.

The article does mention that >>>

"InVision is one of only two companies licensed by the Federal Aviation Administration to sell automatic bomb-detection scanners for airports. Analysts say it's a market that could be worth $2 billion in the U.S. alone."

ps, I hope we won't worry about safety on airplanes or anywhere else in life soon... I do have a son who is pilot for AA and his base is Boston, I know he was very much troubled by the attack of sept. 11th (was his day off..)
and a daughter, flight attendant for Continental who now takes courses in self defense

thanks Wolff..
