Re: Lay has close ties to Bush and his father, the former president. Lay was a top contributor to the younger Bush's 2000 presidential campaign.

The company played a key role earlier this year when a White House task force met with business executives and other interests to fashion a national energy policy. The task force was headed by Vice President Dick Cheney.

Are you talking about "whitewater II?"

Two impeachments in a row, it'll sure be one for the history books!

Nah, Dan. Come on; you know the last time Bush ever saw K.Ley was at his mom's literacy function last May in Houston....and only for a couple of minutes. For it to be Whitewater II, it would have to include at least Cheney......oh wait, it does include Cheney and almost every Bush cabinet member. Its Whitewater 2,3,4,5,6 etc. <g>

And who said the Reps were as honest as the day is long!! May be winter days up at the North Pole.
