S Korean Shares End Down 0.1% To 727.36 On Profit-Taking

SEOUL (Dow Jones)--South Korean shares finished lower Friday as investors continued to take profit.
The Korea Composite Stock Price Index, or Kospi, fell 0.1%, or 0.87 point, to 727.36.



After having had its most active trading day ever Thursday at 1.049 billion shares, the Kospi's volume was lower at 793.278 million. Friday's volume was worth about 4.093 trillion won ($1=KRW1,314.1).

The over-the-counter Kosdaq fell 1.7%, or 1.31 points, to 75.02.
