Sorry clappy, I'm not buying it. You can do better than that :-(

Perhaps black lung is not the problem it once was & your premise (read excuse) lacks credibility...

You asked me why no one jumped to RR's rescue.

I gave you my answer. My opinion.

I had an image drawn from the words I read on his post.
Sort of like the way a person looks at a picture and interprets it their own way.
I explained to you my image and perhaps others felt the same way.
I did not have the ambition to go look up facts about black lung, working conditions,
and everything else. It was not needed. It was just an impression.
It was simpler to let RR's post just go by. It was no big deal.
Bonnie didn't think so and made a point about there being many people out of work this year.

<Clappy can almost hear the ultra fast clicking of Westy's keyboard as go goes to look up
statistics on this past years unemployment numbers and compare them to other years...>

BTW, you can do as much research as you want to do on the working conditions of
coal miners. The fact remains that it's a tough job. It's a dangerous job. As are
many union and non union jobs.
If some dude tries to take food off a working man's plate, and money out of his
pocket after working in a hole or a pit all day long, he is going to be pissed off.
He's trading his sweat, blood, and health for a paycheck.
I can understand him being annoyed.

But it's all part of the game called business.
I understand the frustrations on both sides.

what other 'excuse' could they have for their various malicious threats toward
RR?

I don't know if they need another excuse.

Further, you & polvie have completely ignored bia's calumnious statement that I want all Arab American's shot. You ignored it when she made it & you continue to ignore it in my posts today. I can't think of anything so outrageous to claim that another person harbors such despicable beliefs.

You seem to live to argue with Bonnie. That's your prerogative.
It's not always our desire to do so.
I imagine if you had a broken clock on your wall, you would argue with it all day long
(except for the two times each day it was right).
You'd continually cut and paste the current number in your lower right hand corner
that your computer's clock read, and then furthermore go to various websites to find
additional proof that the atomic clock that is used by scientists all over the world says
that it's not 2:05.
Then you would try to show your broken clock a web camera's live image a reputable
swiss clock and watch maker's show room with all their time pieces with the little arrow
on the 2 and the big arrow on the 6.
You might even argue with that with the big clock in the center of town that is also broken.
You'd explain why it was wrong with it every time you noticed it.
Many people just choose to ignore the clock or find something about the clock we might like
and then move on.

<Clappy can almost now here the tip tap of computer keys explaining that none of the clocks
in his house are broken while he attempts to lay each one on his scanner to prove how the time
matches the SI time stamp next to his post...> <vbg>

Hopefully you see the underlying message and not think of it as a personal attack.
It's not meant to be. The clock stuff is just a picture of a parable that I'm attempting to paint.
