I guess he is alluding to the CDMA denouncement of WCDMA in Cannes.

Whatever the case, QCOM would have alot more credibility if PCS and VZ were more aggressive with their CDMA2000 timeline. The time gap between CDMA2000 and WCDMA is diminishing very rapidly. However, this is a big positive for QCOM as GSM carriers will begin converting to WCDMA. I guess this supports Tero's conclusion that QCOM is at it's best buying opportunity in a very long time.
