I do know a number of Israelis, so was speaking from my own experience. Regardless of the personal characteristics of Palestinians, about which I have no knowledge, settling the Palestinians around Lake Tahoe wouldn't solve the Israel/Palestine problem nearly as neatly as letting the Israelis come here. Their emotional and spiritual attachment to Jerusalem is something they'd have to work out. >>Which is why it's okay for them to go to the USA now.<< I wasn't alive during WWII, and even if I had been, I wouldn't have been in charge of US immigration, but I would have let them come here if I could have.
