Too many reporters have Woodward & Bernstein complexes these days. Seems to me like there's nothing here to chase except political capital. But I frankly don't think many Americans care about this.

If the administration changed certain laws like technology transfers from the state department to the commerce department so that sensitive technologies can be transferred to communist defense departments so that an aerospace company can profit from their $1 million dollar contribution to the a specific political party, a quid pro quo, THAT would be a crime.

Oh, I guess that really happened. And I guess the security of the entire US population has been undermined. That, to me, sounds like a crime.

Also, I do not feel sorry for the employees of Enron who sunk 100% of their life savings into a single stock. That is just plain fundamentally unsound.

I guess those employees suffered from the same greed as the executive running the show.

JMHO,
