There is a new real-time tick by tick Internet based quote service, CaseQuote at casecom.com It offers streaming quotes with a Windows 95/NT or UNIX based application. This same program also allows real-time graphing, telephony alert service is also available. Pricing is very competitive: $59.95 + exchange fees per month or $48 + exchange fees with yearly plan.

Here is the best part - you can register now for a free trail, download CaseQuote and get free real-time streaming quotes and graphs until July 15. Take note beta Signal users - these free quotes are real-time, not 15-minutes delayed. This a very big difference from other services that only allow you to get delayed quotes or just a very short trial. With CaseCom you can see how fast their quotes are, how they will behave during differing market conditions, etc. After July 15 there is an additional, 30-day period before you have to pay.

I have used that free service for a week now and I am very impressed with the speed of updates to quotes. Trade size and bid/ask size are all shown so you can see your orders affecting market in real-time. I am using Datek as my online broker and seeing market movements with the speed of CaseQuote on the same screen has already saved me a lot of money.
