Heaven forbid!! Heck, winning FOUR wars must count for something, no doubt about that.... I mean, how many wars did Napoleon win? How many wars did Julius Caesar win? And Alexander the Great? And Ghengis Khan? I guess each of them won at least a dozen wars --and guess what, it entitled them to a complimentary mention in your favorite encyclopaedia, a handful of splendid monuments (statues, triumph arches, etc), and a cornucopia of street/boulevard/square names.... So, don't worry, Goldsnow, one day, even Belgium will have a few "Israel avenues", "Tel-Aviv boulevards", etc. alongside Boulevard de Waterloo, Square Montgomery,.... |
