That is why I never sell out completely. I got tired of watching my gold portfolio grow and shrink and grow shrink. So I started selling a portion of my holdings into the rallies so I could at least say I made something after the rally ended. I am probably shooting myself in the foot by trying to time the gold market when I know the big rally is out there somewhere perhaps even now...but at least it keeps me busy:)
