Bearishness among newsletter writers per Investors Intelligence is flashing major red. I would have to dig out my data but this week's 22.7% bears (released Wednesday) is near or at lows not seen in the past decade. Normally, anything in the 25% range and below has indicated a short term market top - the most recent sell signal being at this past summer's top. Caveat: use this or any indicator at your own risk. It's best to use indicators only when confirmed by market action.
