Les, Normally employees are very loyal. I'm sure nobody really wanted to sell. They were all sure the stock would recover. Only after it went to single digits they started complaining.
As far as I know most high tech employees did NOT cash most of their options. I know a guy who had $32,000,000 in vested BRCM shares (when BRCM was over $200). He STILL hasn't sold anything. He is too loyal (and stupid and greedy).
