but it is chartered as a discussion site for covered calls, a conservative income producing strategy, not an options trader's forum.

As far as the charter goes here's a quote from it:

"The thread is geared, as its title suggests, to beginners and/or those interested in relatively simple and straightforward strategies. We hope that polite, honest discussion of our plans, successes, and failures will sharpen our investing skills and teach us how to harness the volatility in our portfolios"

As for my trades, they ARE in reference to covered calls. I list them solely for the purpose of getting feed back in order to learn from others.

Since you follow this thread, I know you're aware I did a buy/write on HAL and what my exit strategy was going to be. Since I was unable to execute it, I had to buy puts for insurance.

If posting my trades are an annoyance to others please let me know and I won't post them. It's no big deal.

So what's up with the attitude?
