I absolutely agree, Iraq is an unecessary big target at this point, it is better to straighten out Somalia, Sudan, Ethiopia and the Philipines first, which has the added value of isolating Saddam in Iraq until only he and the few remaining isolated mulah fanatic extremists in Iran are overthrown hopefully by their own people restoring more moderate and modern democratic governments to those oppressed peoples and eliminating the scourage of terrorism especially state sponsored terrorism by the Irans, Syrias, and Iraqs and Communist Chinas of the world. Do not forget about the more than 150 nuclear missles that Communist China is targeting on the US as it gains geography and influence in the former soviet states, consolidate Tibet and infilitrates Nepal and agitates in Kashmir and Jumma to neutralize India at the misfortune of Pakistan becoming the fall guy because of the Pushtun Taliban (Al Quaida infiltrated ISI (Pakistani Secret Intelligence Service) that must be frustrating to moderate Pakistani's like Muhsharif (excuse the spelling).
