And how! On the other end of that, I got suspended.

I figured out later what had happened. My original alias was lazerus Long. I checked it and it was a new alias with no previous uses. I later changed it to Lazarus Long. And didn't re-check it. Just didn't think of it.

The consequence of re-using a previously used alias is that a thread moderator cannot ban you. They have to tell SI Admin to do it. That can take some time.

Now, had Mephucked told me that was the problem, I would have quit posting. But she didn't. She just kept spouting those "YOU ARE BANNED!" messages. I suspect she didn't understand what was happening- -even though the info on moderated threads tell you this.

Sure was fun, though. :-)
