AMD mobile chips are socket-A, right? What would prevent an enthusiast site from running one of those in a desktop configuration? It would make a pretty good news story, wouldn't it?

Also, after thinking about what some of the other Intellabees are saying regarding Tbred samples or Hammer tapeout, I probably have to agree. AMD has never been good at well kept secrets (and neither has Intel), so I can't imagine they would be able to keep those kinds of things a secret for long.
