What's wrong with Dom trying to show us a way to bail out of a situation that was created by doing a covered call in the first place? I am pretty much in agreement with what ever is a method to fix a problem....too many times I have seen ppl sell a call and seen their stock get called away...now they are in the hole when they buy in to it again or are hit with a taxable event that is not wanted, or are rolling out, up , or over only to postpone the loss to a later date....

What's the problem?
