Speak for yourself; I don't know any Palestinians. I do know a number of Israelis, so was speaking from my own experience.>
Well CB, intelligent, hard-working and educated are relative terms so you obviously meant compared with some other group. Which group did you have in mind?
I heard that, our own limited anecdotes aside, a bulk buy of random Jews, would get a high average IQ. Which is usually considered a good thing. I admit to pointing out a PC racial stereotype you made, albeit a flattering one, just for fun. Very melanin-rich people have great rhythm is a comparable stereotype. They are also great runners. And basketball players. Golfers too [though Tiger Woods missed a 90cm putt here yesterday]. Boxers.
But kidding aside, I don't think ethnically-cleansing Jews or Palestinians, even on a voluntary basis, would do the trick. I doubt that enough Jews would want to go and live in the USA, [even in Tahoe], that the problems would go away. But it would probably be a good idea for all concerned and maybe, hopefully, reduce pressures [I doubt it]. I don't know a lot of Jewish people and one of the few families I know had a thriving horticulture business here [my wife and I used to work in their glass-houses sometimes, as teenagers - no, I didn't know her then], but chose to go to Israel [decades ago] to live. So I don't know that we'd get a lot of takers if we offered open-home in NZ. We have lots of South Africans since the going got hotter there. Some Afghans recently. All sorts.
I guess we'll be getting some Rhodesians with Mugabe on the rampage.
I'd have thought Palestinians would do well to have the economic strength of Israel to help the region and a political solution is the best idea.
