I really don't consider an 8000 contract swing a radical change in position considering the big picture, the history of the #'s as an indicator of market direction, and the other current index positions...

And i certainly don't think it is indicative of a launch to new highs, though anything could happen. I would have to say that at this stage the #'s are murky at best, a lagging indicator, and much less useful than when it registers extremes.

When a market stretches out like this, i also think it's a good idea to step back and begin to look at short term moving averages and how they have behaved in the past in regards to market moves. I see alot of commentary about the day to day moves lately in the VIX and P/C etc... rather than trend swings
