Beats ,me? When they issue PFG shares to buy 100% of Day, than PFG survives.
In a friendly merger the tasks will be spread as needed, with exploration going Shrakeways and production going Dayways.
Still, it will be a larger company with 2 irons in the fire and not just one.

Hard to fault Shrake, exploration is like turning over rocks, sometijes it takes load of rocks.
I feel the the exploration funds were spent properly, but there is excess money spent on management. You need smaller salaries and more options as rewards.
