With Communism, The state owns your pig. With Fascism, you own your pig, but the state tells you what you can do with it. The political economic trend in this country has been more Fascist than Communist.
"Everything for the state, nothing outside the state, nothing above the state," was the way Benito Mussolini trumpeted the ideal of fascism in 1922 when he came to power. Hitler idolized Mussolini in the '20s and '30s and got fascism from him.
Communism, Fascism, Socialism, Syndicalism, etc, are all variants of the collectivist approach to political action, rising out of the Philosophy of Hegel, Plato, and Kant. |
