You really think that following Chamberlain appeasement policy is wise?

Well, yes I understand it was a mistake in the short term. You could say the same about USA isolationism before Pearl Habour. Fact is both Pearl Harbour and the invasion of Poland got everyone clearly on one side or the other. Everything possible was done to avoid war by the Allies.

War is such a terrible thing, it's important to be clear that everything possible was done to avoid it. The thing is... Chamberlain cleared the road for Churchill to prosecute the war in any way he saw fit.

Maybe the Isreali's already feel that way? I am sure many must feel that way.
