I would like to throw these numbers out for comment....

Recently Biosource pre-announced a possible shortfall in earnings due
to currency translation between US and European countries where they
do substantial business. The projected amount of shortfall
may be as much as 15%.

Current analysts estimate for June places EPS at .11 for the quarter.
Should .11 be actually achieved, then EPS(ttm) will work out to be
.39. ( I have assumed that the 15% shortfall
has been already accounted for in their estimates.)

Building a table of past history..

qtr EPS (ttm) Price P/E(ttm)

Mar 97 .37 7.19 19.43
Dec 96 .36 6.88 19.11
Sep 96 .34 9.00 26.47
Jun 96 .31 9.03 29.12

If the company meets current estimates, (.39 ttm) the price of this
company should recover somewhat. Current running P/E is 17 which I would guess is based on lack of any exciting news.

Anyone have a comment??
