Yes, there is real doubt about physical silver truly being in short supply. This is just the 3rd version of a squeeze play in silver I've seen in 20 years. The Comex busted up the Hunt play in the late 1978 Warren Buffett busted up the rogue Phibro traders Silver squeeze 14 years ago in '87, This one will be busted as well. (My guess is that Argentine deliveries to the IMF will be the party pooper this time) So, you can see a pattern, right? Silver out of USA Coins: 1965 1978 1987 2001 It was due, Stuart...this silver squeeze business a just another cyclical thing. And no, Richard, haven't heard of "hard Pandas" out here...not yet anyhow. Please keep me posted, and I'll ask my fellow dealer contacts.
