I notice that Harding is calling for a new bear market low, once again in the Oct-Nov time-frame of 2002, which differs from your scenario I think. He believes that will be the final low.

Another thing to consider would be an escalation of the current terrorist war into Iraq or some other escalation scenario. Couple that with the double-dip recession and once again the "sh-- could hit the fan".
