I didn't really have that kind of faith in HAL and I was fully aware of their problems.

In the back of my mind I knew this was an unnecessary trade, hence the gamble. But it was technically positioned to move up to the 13 area, it did have generous premiums as a cushion and I figured it would pull back in the 11 area and may hang there until expiration.

Right now I'm reading Bernie Schaffer's Option Advisor. I checked my library. I found Roth's Leaps book dated 1994 and McMillian's Options as a Strategic Investment dated 1980. I never read any of them, sheesh. I hope the principles still apply.
