Dell was $1.0278/sh, now 29+. a gain of 2734 % Cpq was $7.19/sh, now 11.45, a gain of 59% Hwp was $22.88/sh, now 22.9 a gain of zero% Ibm was $27.4 sh, now $120.6, a gain of 340% (This should help people decide whether its best to invest in Cpq, Hwp, Dell, or nothing) ........................... <<<I'm optimistic long term on Dell. I think the company is taking market share away from Compaq (and the likes). Dell has been in a $6 trading range since the last quarter earnings announcement. It won't go below $28 but can't sustain $34. There has been nothing but bad news from computer makers for several months now. But Dell is growing with strong overseas sales and, again, is taking market share away from Compaq. I will not be adding to my position until the sector's news turns for the better.
