Solon: Probably none. State Shintoism is a fanatical regime that puts the certainties and prerogatives of "believers" at the command of the all powerful State. Where religious fanaticism must equal Government fanaticism, there is little hope for those who expect concepts such as rights or freedoms to be considered.

So aren't you glad we won?

And "we" includes Canadians; Canada was one of our allies. And had an invasion of Japan been necessary, there would have been Canadian bodies on those Japanese beaches in addition to American (and British and Australian and Kiwi and ....)
