Ike; Musharraf ended his speech with this couplet: Fard Qaim Rabte Millat Say Hai Tanha Kuch Naheen.
Mauj Hai Darya Main Aur Baroon-e-Darya Kuch Naheen.

Would you be kind enough to translate?

Btw, it was a very positive speech that puts the challenge to Pakistan whether the new way or old way will be manifest. His hold on power now depends on the nation's answer.

The extremists will be furious and clashes between police and extremists are likely in certain areas. But the larger question to the world is whether the Pakistan/India confrontation will recede from possibility. The refusal to hand over the List of 20 is likely to be judged harshly by India's leadership. They will say he's all posture and no delivery. The tension will remain.... unless.....

Unless he goes after the 20 and puts most on trial within Pakistan. Without some follow-through on that, I seriously doubt that tensions will decrease. The only other out is if both sides have privately agreed to accede to US mediation.
