microATX SocketA board!
This is a bit old, but I don't recall seeing it on the thread and since it's the only microATX board I've seen for SocketA…
It's an ECS board using the SiS740 chipset with integrated graphics.
Taipei -- Jan. 4, 2002 -- Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) is very pleased to announce the release of the L7SOM DDR mainboard that delivers the highest level of performance and boasts state-of-the-art technology.
The L7SOM is a microATX Socket A board that will support XP, Athlon and Duron processors up to 266MHz FSB. The board comes with the high performance SiS® 740 chipset that provides an onboard 3D graphics controller. The L7SOM also has onboard Realtek LAN (optional) and the user-friendly Award® BIOS. There are 2 184-pin DIMM DDR sockets for up to 2GB of DDR SDRAM (DDR266/200). For expansion options, the L7SOM comes equipped with 3 PCI slots and a CNR slot.
There are 2 USB ports, an optional LAN connector, an EPP/ECP parallel port and a 16550 high-speed serial I/O port. A range of audio ports is supplied, comprising line-in, line-out, microphone-in, CD-in and game port. Two PCI IDE interfaces support 4 IDE devices (PIO mode 4, DMA mode 2, ATA 66/100). There are also PS/2 keyboard and mouse connectors and a smart card reader header.
The L7SOM comes with our Magic Setting feature that allows the CPU frequency to be adjusted via the BIOS. As well, there are our usual popular features such as LAN/modem wake-up (the PC can be turned on by modem or any LAN card that supports this function), Suspend to RAM and Hardware Monitoring (provides information on voltage, temperature and fan speed conditions). Furthermore, the Keyboard Power-On function allows the PC to be turned on by using a password. The board's smart card reader header allows connection of smart I/O devices such as a Smart Card, Memory Stick or SD Card.
