Okay; Enron called probably all and sundry. And other basket cases have been making calls. Only they haven't gone belly up YET.

According to the SEC scam they have a ten-year backlog of fraud cases and last spring one of their top rats* told Business Week that they were into "some very, very serious matters involving major corporations and accounting firms about which the public would learn shortly". So you can see; Enron is impressive but really just a promising start.

SO, what's wrong with the SEC scam starting to shovel the crimes, dirt and grime of their owners out into public view? Aren't those bozos supposed to be PUBLIC SERVANTS? What's wrong? Did the mob's property run out of rugs?

*Then he fled the SEC scam along with the chief accountant. I guess some people can take being owned by the mob for only so long. Former head of the scam had fled a few months earlier, tail between legs.
