I have a Linksys hub. Like I said everything was working fine until I rebooted the next day. My XP system couldn't load windows and gave me the choices of "safe mode" and a few others, one of which included "load with last known successful configuration" or something to that extent. I'm not sure if this option is new to XP or not, but it certainly is a nice option. SO I used that option and there-in lies the rub I think with regards to my network.
