However, I don't think Paul meant it that way. As I read his post, it sounded like he was saying that even at .13u, AMD can't clock the Athlon up to the frequencies that Intel could with the Pentium 4 at .18u. As you said, micro-architectural differences make this possible - not just the process. And it does sound hypocritical for Paul to bring it up, and at the same time make fun of others for taking clock frequency too seriously. Happy now? wbmw
