Ok, you are justified to point that out. However, I don't think Paul meant it that way. As I read his post, it sounded like he was saying that even at .13u, AMD can't clock the Athlon up to the frequencies that Intel could with the Pentium 4 at .18u. As you said, micro-architectural differences make this possible - not just the process. And it does sound hypocritical for Paul to bring it up, and at the same time make fun of others for taking clock frequency too seriously.
