You might want to do a Google search for "..tire fire...", as a starter.
With regard to FASC, there is profit in the reprocessing and co-generation possible from handling chicken, swine and other farm wastes.
As opposed to the Clintwit policies of "..what's in it for me & what does the NYT poll say today..", I'm certain that the Republican administration will support systems that are economically sound - as opposed to Gephart-driven Hillary give-away attempts.
There have been some major tire fires over the last few years in Canada and the US, specifically Colorado most recently.
Scrap tires are a constant and growing problem, as more vehicles are running on the highways every year. Land-filling scrap tires (...from my experience with CRSS Sirrine - now Jacobs Engineering, and other large civil-sanitary consultantcies...) is highly undesirable. In their commercially vulcanized state they do not degrade and cannot be recovered in that manner for usable earth.
Tires left exposed are subject to catching rainwater, and growing massive quantities of mosquitoes and fostering families of mice, rats and other pests.
FYI: In the case of Tirex (TXMC), the company has LOIs for purchases of their cryogenic tire recycling systems valued at over $200+MM. Many of these sales were put on hold by the GREENSPERM economic roller-coaster (..with no help from 9-11 ..), but I believe they are maturing at this time.
RTEK has done pretty well, since the son took over from his father. FASC sounds like it has a big trade show coming up shortly. And, I suspect that we''l be seeing a "..sale.." PR from TXMC before the end of February.
Regardless of politics, there is a global garbage, scrap tire and landfill problem that the professionals and public have to deal with in a real way (..quoting Gen. George Patton..) "..every G-damn day.."!!
I'll bet you $1.00 that I'm right (..both politically, and on the issues at hand..).

Have a nice day.
