b-dog, you just went way way over my head with that last post. I have a version of XP that came on my new machine..home edition..the OEM version

I tired to set the network to allow both machines to access the NET with the "floppy" it asked me to make and then load into each additional machine. I get error messages and then statements claiming win95 won't work with that driver. So I moved on and at that point was just trying to access and share files> I think I must first get file sharing established and then I'll attempt to access the web from the win95 box
