Z, you want God to be an indulgent parent always bailing his children [us]out when they get into trouble. However, its been proven over and over again that indulgent parents beget spoiled, self centered adults. Even an indulgent parent wouldn't let his kids kill someone if there were any way of preventing it.. Z, that's not true.......by the time it comes to killing, the parent either has no control or is allowing their child to determine his or her own destiny. For the record, your argument against the existence of God pretty much parallels mine. However, the more I hear your explanation for why God does not exist, the less I believe yours and my position is correct. Whatever!! But let me ask this.........there are events that occur in this world that are definitely supernatural and not explainable whether by science or anything else that is rational. They defy logic and what is considered fact. How do you explain these events in your view of the world?
