HK PRESS: PCCW Plans EUR500M 10-Year European Bonds January 9, 2002 Dow Jones Newswires HONG KONG -- Pacific Century CyberWorks Ltd. (H.PCW) plans to issue EUR500 million of 10-year, fixed- rate European bonds in the first blue-chip debt offering this year, the Oriental Daily reports. Citing an unnamed source, the paper says PCCW plans to launch a debt offering now as many asset managers are restructuring their portfolio at the beginning of the year. The paper also says that broadband users for PCCW have increased to 280,000 from 200,000 during the second half of 2001, but the number of interactive TV users remains flat at 300,000.
