That's true, but do you have any doubt that the networking market will come back eventually? Bandwidth demand is still doubling every year. There will come a day when demand outstrips supply. Forget about the fiber in the ground, what's really at stake here is demand for the boxes that light the fiber and route/switch the traffic. Already, we are seeing an equilibrium between supply and demand in the networking segment. Everything goes through cycle and this cycle may not be at the trough yet (I believe it is), but the rebound will come one day eventually. To believe that a rebound will never come is just not being reasonable. Rebounds ALWAYS come.
