ENRON UPDATE: Democrats are divided on what to do. Jon Corzine (D -NJ) who got money from Enron, is taking a cautionary line. Henry Waxman, on the other hand (whom the Post describes accurately as "camera-hungry") is raring to go (I'm still trying to find out if the "Lighthouse Energy Group" who donated to Waxman is connected to Enron, or one of its competitors, though either way it seems like a conflict of interest -- but Waxman obviously isn't concerned.) And Charles "was that a TV camera?" Schumer, who got the most money from Enron of any Democratic Senator is being most uncharacteristically silent. instapundit.blogspot.com
