The main point is that this is a
very serious loss of face for U.S.
business and stock market.

But Americans never seem to worry much
about dwindling confidence in their
markets.

As I understand it; Enron simply
bought every politician around so
it's an all around political scandal.

But above all a financial and business
scandal. And the shift probably hasn't
even started hitting the fan.
