Ratdogman, on uncle AL I back your stance regarding his standing up for a sound monetary policy. However I have some reservations seeing him "talking down" the market and shaking off any newfound confidence. His comments were milder than I had expected. Still the market reacted harsh. Too much "Greeny Astrology" IMHO (aka the old "kremlin astrgology" of the cold war). Too little substance.. Regarding the Dems trying to attach Bush to Enron debacle I'm not surprised. I'm only surprised to see people inside the glasshouse throwing stones, having learned that former treasurer Rubin was another one of Mr. Fisher's callers. Not only that, Enron people seem to have courted the Dems also. Can only say that it might backfire and rightly so. Usually I don't take a partisan position in US politics but after seing Daschle's class warfare rhetorics and accusations I now certainly do know where I rather NOT want to stand... As an investor I usually side with the ones opting for lower taxes and less regulation. rgrds CROSSY
