What we are witnessing is not a clash of civilisations but the imposition of one civilisation on another, and the resistance that follows from that.

Yes, indeed. I like the Western culture, but I suspect I am biased because I grew up in it. The massive wealth I have access to is another factor. So, I am suspicious of selfish attempts to impose one culture on another.

Is it any wonder that, as Malcolm X said in another context, the chickens have come home to roost?
