We do not have to be at war with them, because in their minds they are at war with us and all of western civilization. Afghanistan was just the tip of a huge iceberg of hatred that will not go away anytime soon, and it is my opinion this massive hatred towards us will cause more and more of our freedoms to be eliminated, perhaps very slowly, and we could end up like the proverbial frog who does not jump out of the water until it is too late.... This is a new kind of war, and the sword of advanced technology cuts both ways. We will be forced more and more to think outside the box to permanently defeat the evil ones.
